Kauai's Family Restaurant

We went to this restaurant because it had great reviews, pretty spot on! We ordered the pork cutlet and the ginger chicken from the waitress recommendations (our first time there). Great flavor, quality and quantity for the price, however the Mac salad tasted great just a little heavy on the salt! We shall return and try something else.

Shoutout to my husband for wanting to try this place out.. Now it's our favorite spot! 😁 It's just like having a home cooked meal! Very pleased with the service and the wait is less than 10 minutes. 5 stars all the waaaay!

Rainbow cake and guava cake: 4, Dobash cake: 1, spam musubi: 2. I was really excited to have the Dobash cake since I haven't seen it in awhile and it's one of my favorite cakes. Unfortunately, the Dobash cake here tasted downright weird. It looks like chocolate, but I have no idea what it is. It didn't taste at all like chocolate. The spam musubi from their shop next door was good, but I walked out of there realizing that I just paid almost $8 for two balls of rice with a sliver of processed meat. Not sure if the price is justified, but I won't have it again.
